We provide doula support to patients accessing care at our partner clinics: Planned Parenthood of Metropolitan Washington in Northeast DC and Falls Church Healthcare Center in Northern Virginia. On occasion, we may be able to provide services outside of these spaces.
Doulas offer:
• Emotional support
• Pain management techniques
• Relaxation and breathing techniques
• A soothing presence
• Information about the procedure
• A calm, knowledgeable guide
Services may be provided before, during, & after the following procedures:
•D&Cs (1st trimester), D&Es (2nd trimester)
•Laminaria placements
•Medical inductions
•KCl injections
•Medical terminations
